About Us
Derby City Photographic Club is for everyone – the experienced, the improver and raw beginner; age,
gender and skill level are immaterial. We meet every Monday (except Bank Holidays and August
Mondays), 7.45pm at The Grange Banqueting Suite, Littleover. (Location) There’s extensive car parking
and our meeting room has an adjacent licensed bar.
As a member you can:
•
attend the events in our full and varied regular Monday programme, which includes illustrated
talks by leading photographers, exhibitions, competitions and lots of opportunity to share and
learn.
•
take part in our informal technical sessions, which meets on Tuesdays once a month mostly. Past
meetings have included discussions on lenses, tripods as well as regular Photoshop and Photoshop
Lightroom tutorials for image enhancement. See the events programme...

receive a programme from the Techniques Tuesday Coordinator by e-mail
•
learn from experienced members on varied subjects such as landscape, portraiture, natural
history, sport, etc.
•
borrow from our library of photography books, CDs and user manuals available on free loan
•
use our colour management equipment to assist in your monitor and printer calibration
•
take part in the popular Club monthly and annual digital and print competitions
•
showcase a selection of your photographs on the Club website
•
join other members for outdoor meetings, social events and the annual Club weekend away

Full membership costs £15 a year (concessions for 65+ and under 16s), plus £2 each meeting attended.
