Personal website  and Steelorchid website. 28^th PHOTOGRAPHIC WALK as part of THE PEAK DISTRICT OUTDOORS FESTIVAL 2012.  The first of three photo walks organised as part of local Walking Festivals, this walk is to Lumsdale to photograph the waterfalls, streams and archaeological remains in this picturesque and historical industrial site. A short detour will be made to a nearby pine spinney with glorious local countryside views. Meet 2pm at the lay-by outside Highfield School, off Chesterfield Road, Upper Lumsdale, near Matlock. Grid Ref: SK311611. 2.0 mile walk. We should be back to the lay-by by 5pm.
