5th - Alan Millward FRPS, MPAGB, HON PAGB - Cuba And Other Recent Trips
Alan is a highly experienced and reputable photographer whose talk will take us on several trips
to Cuba dating back to 1999, plus two visits to Georgia, Europe, Costa Rica and several jaunts in
Yellowstone National Park. An evening of striking environmental people pictures with some
memorable landscape and nature images. Sponsored by Fotospeed Lecture Service

19th - Members Evening
The evening will start by screening Jane Woodward’s audio visual presentation, followed by
Ashley Franklin showing us a behind the scenes view of his photographing of the Queen and the
Royal Maundy service at Derby Cathedral.
Barry Thompson has been invited to talk about his journey towards his LRPS distinction and
display his panel of photographs.
The later part of the evening will be a question and answer session. The committee will sit at the
front of the meeting and they will ask members some questions and the membership can ask the
committee questions too.
26th - Quiz Night
Club member Sarah Middleton once again brings us an informal fun night mixing questions on
photography and general knowledge. Points mean prizes.
