ADVANCE NOTICE OF THE CLUB COMPETITION THEMES

The Club Committee has agreed the forward programme of competition themes for 2019 and up to the summer break in 2020. We hope this will give even the most hard pressed members the opportunity to enter their work in this valuable aspect of the club’s activities.

Join our monthly competitions

We hope that you will be encouraged to join in our monthly competitions. We are keen to see more members taking part. This is an excellent way to keep improving your work and of course makes for an entertaining evening for members to see a wide range of images from our own group. Thanks to Jim Connolly’s work last year, we now have the themes set right up to the summer break in 2020 and we intend to continue having a rolling forward set of themes so that you will always have plenty of notice to put together your images.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING & PRESENTATION OF AWARDS

21/01/2019
On 21st January we have the club’s annual general meeting. This is your opportunity as a member to have your say about the running of your club. There is no charge on this evening and we would like as many members as possible to be there. Papers will be sent to all members in the next couple of days. The committee requests advance notice of any questions so that the relevant official can research the answer ahead of the meeting.

We will then elect the committee for next year and present awards to our most successful photographers of 2018. We will round off the evening with a presentation by Martin Vaughan, one of the club’s best nature photographers.
